Barrett Y. Bogue is the President and Founder of Evocati Public Relations, a strategic communications firm dedicated to amplifying purpose-driven organizations. With a career rooted in public service and advocacy, Barrett brings deep expertise in media strategy, stakeholder engagement, and values-based storytelling.
Prior to founding Evocati PR, Barrett served as Vice President at Student Veterans of America and held a leadership role at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where he oversaw GI Bill outreach and compliance. His background in higher education policy and veteran affairs informs his approach to building trust and visibility for mission-led brands.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Barrett served six years in the Reserve and was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom II, earning a Combat Action Ribbon and Meritorious Mast for leadership under fire. He holds degrees in political science and higher education administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Mark Szymanski is the Chief Executive Officer of Evocati PR, bringing over two decades of experience in strategic communications across corporate, nonprofit, and association sectors. His leadership reflects a deep understanding of brand positioning, public engagement, and values-driven storytelling.
Before joining Evocati PR, Mark served as Communications Director for Student Veterans of America, the Got Your 6 campaign, and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. His work has shaped national narratives around veteran advocacy, civic leadership, and public service.
Mark’s approach blends tactical media expertise with a commitment to social impact. He continues to guide Evocati PR’s mission to amplify organizations that serve the greater good through thoughtful, strategic visibility.
