Evocati PR Welcomes Michigan Potato Industry Commission as Newest Client

Will promote Michigan's potato industry's economic impact study through a 2024 nationwide campaign

Welcoming Michigan Growers

We're excited to officially announce our partnership with the Michigan Potato Industry Commission! Since 2021, Evocati PR and the National Potato Council have worked in tandem to support American potato growers and the industry as a whole. Now with the Michigan Potato Industry Commission in the fold, we're bringing the same PR with a Purpose to growers in the Mitten.

About the Michigan Potato Industry Commission

Serving as Michigan's premier potato research, promotion, and education organization since 1970, the Michigan potato industry has grown to be one of the largest in the country—and the Michigan Potato Industry Commission is proud to represent this burgeoning industry.

Approximately 70% of Michigan's potatoes are turned into potato chips, and one in four bags of chips are filled with Michigan-grown potatoes. The Michigan potato community comprises 22 operations. The state produces the 8th most potatoes in the country. With their high volume of premium chipping and seeding potatoes, they are 6th in sales revenue.

Providing PR with a Purpose

Evocati PR looks forward to sharing more about their impact on the state and nation in a groundbreaking study to be released in early 2024.

"I've worked with America's potato growers and the state and national organizations that represent them for nearly a decade. They are good people who care about their farms, their employees, and their communities," said Evocati PR CEO Mark Szymanski. "It's an honor to join the Michigan Potato Industry Commission on this project to communicate the tremendous job and economic benefits that Michigan's potato industry delivers to their state."

Similar to Evocati PR's Spud Nation campaign, we're partnering with the Michigan Potato Industry Commission to provide purpose-driven PR on behalf of Michigan growers by highlighting their economic contributions.

"Evocati PR will bring the economic impact study to life by transforming a report into an engaging story," said Kelly Turner, Executive Director at the Michigan Potato Industry Commission. "We're grateful for the design and dedication Evocati PR will provide to this project to bring written words to life and tell our growers' story."

Through research, promotion, and education, the Michigan Potato Industry Commission continues to drive potato growth in the Mitten. The expert team is ready to welcome Evocati PR and bring a new dimension of support to Michigan's potato growers.
