EVOCATI ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH THE IVY LEAGUE VETERANS COUNCIL
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Evocati welcomed the Ivy League Veterans Council (ILVC) to the family today as their next pro bono client. Evocati will help ILVC’s leadership team plan and promote their upcoming spring meeting, March 30, 2019, at Stanford University.
Less than two out of every thousand students at an Ivy League institution of higher education are a veteran. By supporting ILVC Evocati seeks to increase representation of military-connected students at these schools to help bridge the military-civilian divide and improve higher education outcomes for veterans.
ILVC was founded in 2015 to “study, address and resolve under-representation by U.S. military veterans in the student populations of elite academic institutions.”
Representatives from the nine member schools will meet in March at Stanford University to discuss expanding opportunities for current and prospective student veterans in America’s top colleges and universities. Evocati will provide event planning and media placement support. Guest speakers will include Kathy Roth-Douquet, CEO at Blue Star Families and Dr. David M. Kennedy, Ph.D., Professor of American Studies at Stanford University.
Higher education faculty, staff, and administrators who support military-connected students are encouraged to contact ILVC President Adam Behrendt to express interest in attending.
